TH-HF3.1 is a highly rigid agarose with enhanced mechanical properties by emulsifying, rinsing and cross-linking conventional 3.1% agarose several times, i.e., TH (Truking Hard) matrix, which is also often used as a matrix for affinity, hydrophobicity and ion exchange chromatography. With more stable physicochemical properties, these media can withstand autoclaving at 121°C and have a fast flow rate, making them suitable for application in large-scale separation and purification.
