TA-Benzamidine 4FF (HS) is an affinity chromatography medium made by coupling p-aminobenzamidine to agarose gel TA-4FF, which is commonly used for the isolation and purification of serine proteases or the removal of serine proteases from biological samples. Benzamidine analogs are broad-spectrum inhibitors of serine proteases (e.g., trypsin, thrombin, urokinase, kinin-releasing enzyme, and prokinin-releasing enzyme), and can be used as ligands for the purification of such substances.
