As foreign trade enterprises actively tap into both domestic and global markets, China’s high-tech manufacturers are also expanding their international footprint. Economic Daily recently highlighted this momentum in a special report on the acceleration of domestic-international market integration, spotlighting Truking Technology — a leading force in China’s pharmaceutical equipment sector — for its sustained commitment to overseas development and increasing focus on global channel partnerships.
Headquartered in Ningxiang, Hunan Province, Truking Technology began exporting pharmaceutical equipment to Southeast Asia over 20 years ago. Internationalization has long been at the core of its strategic vision. Leveraging an ever-expanding product portfolio, advanced technical capabilities, and continuous improvements in quality and service, Truking has actively pursued diversified global channels to rapidly increase its international market share.
According to Economic Daily, Truking has made remarkable strides in the first half of 2025 alone, participating in specialized trade shows and hosting technical seminars in various countries. These efforts significantly bolstered both its international brand visibility and order volumes. Zhou Feiyue, Co-President and Chief International Sales and Service Officer of Truking Technology, noted that the company is building a “fully integrated supply platform” covering pharmaceutical equipment, manufacturing processes, and turnkey solutions — a new model aimed at accelerating global expansion.
As Rednet.cn further reported, Ningxiang’s high-tech companies are increasingly stepping onto the world stage. A notable example is Truking Feiyun, a subsidiary of Truking Technology. Originally based in China’s southeastern coastal region, Feiyun relocated inland following its acquisition by Truking. Thanks to Feiyun’s established overseas sales network and Truking’s broader international reach, the company is now better positioned for global growth.
In 2017, Truking acquired the renowned German pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer Romaco Group, a century-old brand with operations in over 180 countries and strong presence in developed markets across Europe and North America. This acquisition created synergistic advantages across Truking’s subsidiaries. In February of this year, Truking Feiyun’s NJP3000 fully automatic capsule filling machine was shipped to the United States — yet another example of leveraging Romaco’s international network to penetrate premium markets in developed nations.
Today, Truking Feiyun’s products have been sold to over 30 countries and regions. In addition to developing markets such as Malaysia, Vietnam, India, and Brazil, its reach now includes top-tier pharmaceutical markets in the U.S., Canada, Germany, and Australia. With more than 2,000 pharmaceutical manufacturers using its equipment, the brand has earned a strong reputation at home and abroad.
Rednet.cn attributed Ningxiang’s globalization success to its deeply rooted innovation culture and forward-looking strategies. Zhou Feiyue emphasized that the company continues to innovate to meet client demands and solve operational challenges. By adopting advanced manufacturing techniques, Truking ensures both product quality and delivery efficiency. “Equally important is delivering excellent service,” Zhou said. “As our overseas footprint grows, so must our service capability and radius.”
Truking has steadily expanded its international sales and service teams, establishing more than 20 localized service centers across key countries and regions. The company is vigorously promoting a localized approach to global business while strengthening coordination with Romaco’s sales channels. In 2024, Truking’s new domestic export orders surpassed RMB 1.2 billion, marking a breakthrough in high-end markets like Europe and laying a solid foundation for future international growth.
Backed by advancing technological capabilities and quality standards, Truking has obtained critical international certifications such as FDA, CE, and ISO — increasingly providing global “passports” for its products. Analysts note that the globalization efforts of Ningxiang-based companies like Truking reflect a strong foundation in technology and manufacturing. These firms are integrating into national open-market strategies, overcoming geographic limitations, and transforming from peripheral players into key global frontrunners.
